What Works Part I
What really works when it comes to building functional strength, power and muscle?
Here's my list --- see how it compares to yours:
(1) Body Weight Only Exercises
(2) Free Weights...barbells, dumbbells, POWER MOVES (My Favorite!!)
(3) Ruck Marching.....hiking, walking, lots of stairs
(4) Squats...all kinds of squats
(5) Heavylifting...low reps
(6) Push ups...all kinds of push ups
(7) Pull ups...all kinds of pull ups
(8) Sprinting...running, cycling, swimming, walking
(9) Heavy bag hitting
(10) Brazilian Jujitsu...wrestling
(11) Lots and lots of Hard work
It might seem difficult to maintain, but I try and spend 3-4 days a week on strength training. Its hard sometimes, but the alternative is even worse.
So, get out there and get strong!!!
